Detroit

Men killing men
A card game that brings bullets, so nobody wins
Black men dying
Unclothed babies on the corner of street life crying
Weed
A drug called speed
Slowly killing
Throwing a valuable seed
You craved
Money you saved
Right in your grave
Look what you made
Men killing men
Men on Crack
Crack had you bound in gagged
Down to every seed
And bags of weed
You was so gone you didn’t know what bags to grab
A life you never had a crack head gone mad
Skin withering
Mouth quivering
Hands shaken
Lay down the drugs in stop faken
You can find a better job
Flint
No money so we can’t pay the rent
Every other day another eviction letter is being sent
Sleeping on the floor, where the heat don’t flow through the vents
No electricity, when you hit the light switch
No fridge so we put the food outside, just so it would stay cold
I hope nobody finds out, because
We from a place where love don’t exist
So we have fits, and call it a quits.
